@rancherito oscar Oh, my experience tells me they are HOT. I should add, I am a major wuss when it comes to spicy/hot. I sliced a bunch of jalapenos and my hands were throbbing hot. I wear gloves now.
jalapeño is not very spicy, in Mexico it is like a sweet, the one that spicy is the serrano pepper and the habanero pepper, greetings
I have seen people feeding fish with all bones to dogs in several countries, including Mexico. In fact, once I visited a fisher's family in rural Mexico and I was concerned when they fed fish to their dogs but the dogs just ate it and they have for years and years and no dog has been choked or hurt. But the dogs are more rustic, like country dogs not like the tender pets that people usually have at their homes. Also, once in the states I was sharing (for the summer) a big victorian home with some Americans that had a dog and the dog would follow me when I was cooking and in one occasion (ok it was more than one) I gave the dog some chicken bones and the owners were so alarmed because the dog could have choked, after that summer the dog seemed to love me more than its masters :)
